DC directs PWD officials to expedite Tulu Bhavan works

Mangaluru, Feb 7, 2015: Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim has directed the officials of the PWD to expedite the construction of the Tulu Bhavan near Urva Stores and ensure that the project is completed at the earliest. The Tulu Bhavan is a project of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy.

 

 

 

Earlier the officials informed the meeting that the delay in release of funds has led to the failure of the implementation agency to complete the project on time and that it was already six months behind schedule.

It has been gathered that the District Administration which had initially fixed the deadline of April this year has relaxed it till August. The contractor however had demanded time till December.
