DC asks officials to gear up for free and fair polls

Mangaluru, Mar 05, 2019: Deputy Commissioner  and District Election Officer Sasikanth Senthil has directed officials to  gear up for free and fair elections.


Addressing a meeting of election nodal officers at the ZP Auditorium, he  exhorted officials to  discharge their duties with diligence as per the instructions of the Election Commission, without giving scope for any bias.

He also emphasised the  need for co-ordination between police officials and nodal officers.


ZP CEO Dr Selvamani R who will  be the MCC Nodal Officer, SVEEP Committee Chief and Election Expenses Review Officer, also addressed the meeting.

SP Laxmi Prasad and other officials were present.
