Mangaluru, September 27, 2020: The administration aims to promote tourism in Dakshina Kannada with community participation, said Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra.
He was speaking at the "Swachhatha Pakhwada-2020" programme organised at Tannirbavi beach on behalf of the District Administration, Tourism Department and Mangaluru City Corporation on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
The Deputy Commissioner said a Rs 17 crore project has been chalked out for Tourism development and added that a sum of Rs 9 crore has also been released.
MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, Tourism Department Director Somashekhar, KCCI President Isac Vas, Yojaka India Private Ltd Managing Director Jagadish Bolur and others were present.
