D Shilpa of Karnataka origin is Kasargod’s first lady SP

Kasargod, May 30, 2020:   D Shilpa of Karnataka origin has  been appointed as the new Kasargod District Superintendent of Police. She is the first lady to occupy the coveted post in the district. Her appointment follows the sudden transfer of P S Sabu who was hitherto holding the post. He has now been appointed as SP of Alappuzha.

Shilpa has earlier served as ASP of Kasargod. She was even the ASP of Kannur during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
