Cycle rallies held in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 17, 2020:  Mangalore Bicycle Club, KanaraChamber of Commerce and Industry, and Rotary Club of Mangaluru organised a cycle rally in Mangaluru city on Sunday to create awareness on safe traffic.

About 180 cyclists participated in the event. The 10-km ride was flagged off at Mangala Stadium and the riders went through Urwa Stores, Urwa Market, Mannagudda, Ballalbagh, PVS Circle, Bunts Hostel, Navabharath Circle, Car Street, and finally Canara High School Urwa Grounds.

Cancer awareness rally


Another cycle rally was organised in the city on the same day to create awareness on cancer. About 120 persons participated in it from Bharath Mall. They covered PVS Circle, Urwa Stores, and Kottara Chowki, before returning to Bharath Mall, covering about 8 k.m. Mangalore Cycling Club and Decathlon organised the rally.
