Curfew ends ; Section 144 till Tuesday morning

Mangaluru, Dec 23, 2019: Curfew that was clamped in Mangaluru Police Commissionerate limits on Thursday evening, has ended on December 23, Monday morning at 6 am. However, prohibitory orders under Section 144 will continue till December 24,  6 am.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It may be recalled  here that  Thursday’s protest against Citizenship Amendment Act had turned violent with police opening fire claiming two lives.  Soon after  this incident, curfew was clamped.  There was relaxation in curfew for two  hours on Friday to facilitate Namaz and  also on Saturday morning and afternoon. On Sunday, curfew was lifted from 6 am to 6 pm.
