Cultural Fest “Anandotsava-2015” inaugurated at NMAMIT

Karkala, Feb 8, 2015 : A state level inter- collegiate cultural fest named ‘Anandotsava-2015’ got off to a colourful start at Nitte Manjunatha Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) on February 7, Saturday.  Deputy Commissioner of Udupi Dr Vishal R inaugurated the fest.

In his address, Dr Vishal exhorted the students to be disciplined and dedicated in whatever work they do. “Enjoy the journey of life and also take good and right decisions,” he said and wished a bright future for the students.

Dr S Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor of Nitte University said India is a great  supplier of skilled manpower to the world and added  in India eight lakh engineering graduates pass out from colleges every year.

Dr Niranjan S Chiplunkar, Principal presented the annual report. Dr IR Mitantaya, Vice Principal and many others were present.

Nityananda, a state level award winning sportsman from NMAMIT was felicitated on the occasion.

 Over 1000 students from 45 engineering colleges are participating in Anandotsava which will feature around 27 contests including dance, singing, painting, Antakshari, cartoon drawing, essay writing, rangoli,debate, clay model making, flower arrangement etc.
