Cricket betting : CCB cops arrest three more persons

Mangaluru, Apr 10, 2019:  CCB Police have arrested three persons involved in cricket betting business through a mobile app at Matadakani and have seized Rs 4.25 lakhs cash and five mobile phones from them.

 

Those arrested are  Sunil Melwyn Rego (42), Santosh John (47) of Matadakani and Ashok Anchan (46) of Ullalbail. It is learnt they indulged in the illegal business through the Bet pro app.

Police are on the lookout for a few more persons said to be involved in this racket.

So far police have arrested as many as 20 persons involved in cricket betting business.
