Covid-19 related rule violation to attact heavy penalty in Kerala

Kasargod, July 13, 2020:    Violation of Covid-19 related guidelines will attract  high penalty in  he neighbouring  Kerala state. Those found violating quarantine rules will have to pay Rs 5,000 fine while those taking part in protests  will have to pay Rs 1,000 per head.

The government  will also impose penalty of Rs 1500 for  violating rules during other religious events  and Rs 2,000 for violations during marriage ceremonies. A fine of Rs 700 will be imposed for violating Covid-19 related guidelines  during funeral.
