Covid-19 claims another life in DK ; Kulshekhar woman succumbs to infection

Mangaluru, May 14, 2020:  An 80 year old  woman from Kulshekhar  who was being treated for Covid-19 infection at the Wenlock Covid-19 Hospital since April 27 has  succumbed to the infection on May 14, Thursday.

 

The woman identified as P-105 was tested positive along with her  45 year old son.  This case is also linked to First Neuro Hospital as the woman had undergone treatment at the hospital where her son had taken care of her.

The woman was in ventilator support and was in a critical state since the past few days.  With her death the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in the district has risen to five. So far  the district had 34 Covid-19 positive cases of whom 15 had recovered and  14 cases are presently active and the patients are under treatment.
