Covid-19 claims another life; 59 year old woman from Ullal is 10th victim

Mangaluru, June 24, 2020: Covid-19 has claimed one more life in Dakshina Kannada on June 24, Thursday. A 59 year old woman from Ullal who was being treated at a private hospital at Derlakatte has passed away on Thursday. 

She was tested positive on June 23, Tuesday night. With this the total number of deaths due to Coronavirus in the district has increased to ten.

The woman  was said to be suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and hypothyroidism. Ten days ago the woman was admitted to a private hospital following complaint of digestive problems. Two days ago she was shifted to a private medical college and hospital in Deralakatte where she was found with SARI symptoms. Her throat and swab samples were sent for testing. She was among the eight persons found positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
