Covid-19 claims 9th victim in DK; 70 year old man succumbs to infection

Mangaluru, June 23, 2020:    A 70 year old person who had arrived in the city  from Bengaluru on June 7 and was later tested positive for Covid-19 has succumbed to the infection on June 23, Tuesday. With this the  number of people who have died due to Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada district has increased to nine.

 

It has been gathered that the patient had symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Infection and   was admitted to Wenlock Covid-19 Hospital on June 12.    He was also suffering from pneumonia and asthma.
