Covid-19 claims 18th victim in DK : Kalladka man succumbs to infection

Mangaluru, July 02, 2020:    A 49 year old man from Kalladka in Bantwal who was admitted to a private hospital for  treatment of kidney  ailment and was tested positive, has succumbed to the infection on July 2, Thursday.   He is the fifth person from Bantwal to  die of Covid-19.

A private hospital at Kalladka where he had initially undergone treatment has been sealed down. It has been gathered that the son of the deceased is an SSLC student who is appearing for the exams being held currently.

With today’s  death, Covid-19 has claimed a total of 18 lives in Dakshina Kannada district.
