Corporator Pratibha Kulai furious over BJP for `maligning’ her; files complaint

Mangaluru, Apr 03, 2018: Hosabettu ward corporator Pratibha Kulai has lodged a complaint with City Police Commissioner T R Suresh  against senior BJP leaders including State BJP President BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Ravi Shanker Prasad and party General Secretary Shobha Karandlaje for  trying to tarnish her image by publishing her photo in the  BJP’s charge sheet  against the Congress government.

Pratibha in her complaint has alleged that her photograph has  been wrongly used  in  the charge sheet pertaining to  alleged harassment case of BBMP councillors Mamatha Vasudev and Manjula Narayanaswamy.

"This faux pas by the BJP aims at defaming me," Pratibha has  stated in her complaint.

Commissioner T R Suresh said the police would seek legal opinion on the issue.
