Corporation Bank honors Jawarharlal Nehru on 122nd birth anniversary

Mangalore, Nov 14, 2011: The district-unit of the Bharath Seva Dal in collaboration with Corporation Bank celebrated the 122nd birth anniversary of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India on Nov 14, Monday. 

Floral tributes were offered to the statue of Jawaharlal Nehru near the SP’s office.

 

 

Addressing the gathering, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura urged the youth to follow in the footsteps of Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day nationwide. 

Former president of the Kannada Sahithya Parishad Harikrishna Punaroor, Bharath Seva Dal President Bashir Baikampady, Corporation Bank GM B. R. Bhat and, and many others were present.
