Corporation Bank donates Rs. 3.18 crores for Kerala flood relief

1.Corporation Bank donated Rs. 3.18 crores to the Government of Kerala in support of relief efforts following the devastating floods that had affected the state earlier this year. Shri Jai Kumar Garg, Managing Director & CEO, Corporation Bank handed over the cheque to Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Kerala on 23rd November, 2018. Shri K. Ramachandran, Circle General Manager, Chennai Circle, and Shri K. Laxman Kudva, Dy. General Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Zone, and other executives of the Bank, were present on the occasion.

 

2.Shri Jai Kumar Garg said that the employees of the Bank have volunteered and collected funds for the donation in support of the relief work.

3.Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan appreciated the generous act of the Bank towards flood relief. He applauded the staff members of the Bank for joining hands for a noble deed.
