Corporation Bank Donates Rs. 2,15,44,484 to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

Mangalore, Oct 27:  Corporation Bank donated Rs. 2,15,44,484/- [Rupees Two Crore Fifteen Lakh Forty Four Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Four] to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of the affected people of Jammu and Kashmir State which has been recently hit by torrential rains followed by floods.

 

The donation cheque of Rupees Two Crore Fifteen Lakh Forty Four Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Four was handed over by Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank at New Delhi, recently. 3.0 As a part of fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibilities and as a responsible corporate citizen, the Bank has initiated several welfare measures aiming at the underprivileged section of the society in fulfillment of its commitment to social priorities. 

As the bounden duty to extend support for the relief and rescue operations as well as for mitigating the sufferings of the affected fellow countrymen, Corporation Bank has risen to the occasion and has donated to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund towards the cause of the affected in Jammu and Kashmir.
