Corona fears : Khader suggests entry restrictions in Dakshina Kannada for north Karnataka buses

Mangaluru, March 18, 2020:  MLA and former minister U T Khader has suggested that the  buses  coming from north Karnataka region must be restricted for a few days in the district. He also said that all passengers arriving by KSRTC buses must be screened for Coronavirus.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters here, Khader said  measures have also to be taken to prevent any Covid-19 infected persons entering Dakshina Kannada from Talapady side. There should also be strict inspection at railway stations and airports. There needs to be abundant precautions, he added.

Khader also urged the district  administration which has already taken several steps to check the spread of Coronavirus, to initiate further stringent measures.

Another suggestion put forth by Khader was to have isolation wards in separate buildings.
