Corona fear drives Bantwal man to suicide

Bantwal, March 27, 2020:  A person from Abetti in Bantwal has  committed suicide by hanging himself after reportedly getting panicky over Coronavirus on March 26, Thursday night.

 

The deceased is Sadashiva Shetty (55).   Sources said he was mentally agonised over Coronavirus  pandemic and ended his  life after writing a death note.

He was working in a petrol bunk and had reportedly even attempted suicide once two days ago. Bantwal Rural Police are investigating the case.
