Cops warn public against posting photos of Covid-19 victim

Mangaluru, April 20, 2020:  The Police have warned the members of the general public against sharing on social sites any photographs of Covid-19 patients or victims. The warning  has come in the backdrop of some people sharing the photo of  the woman from Bantwal who died of Coronavirus.

 

District Superintendent of Police B M Laxmi Prasad has said stringent  action would be taken against anyone posting photographs of the Covid-19 victim.
