Cops thwart cattle smuggling at Kandlur; 25 cows seized

Kundapur, Oct 17, 2017: Kandlur Police have seized 25 cows which were being smuggled  in a pick-up vehicle  in the area on October 17, Tuesday morning. Two cops Prashanth and Ashok sustained injuries in their attempt to stop the speeding vehicle.

 

 

The police had to then chase the vehicle and intercept it near the Gulvady bridge. The accused however succeeded in escaping.

Of the 25 animals 10 have died. Kundapur Rural Police are investigating the case.
