Cops register case against ABVP activists for holding protest without permission

Udupi, April 24, 2024: Udupi police have registered a case against ABVP activists for staging a protest without prior permission on April 23 against Neha murder case of Hubballi.

 

The administration had denied permission for the protest in the wake of model code of conduct that is in force. Still the ABVP activists took out a protest march upto Service Bus stand and had also staged a rasta roko.

As per the complaint lodged by Flying Squad officer Kumar Naik V, police have registered cases against ABVP leaders Srivats, Ganesh, Ajith, Harshith and others.
