Cops open fire, arrest notorious criminal at Jeppinamogaru

Mangaluru, May 10, 2019:  Police have arrested a notorious rowdy named Gowrish after firing at him in self defense at Jeppinamogaru on May 9, Thursday. Gowrish who was injured was subsequently arrested. He is said to be an associate of another notorious criminal Akashbhavan Sharan.

 

It has been gathered that the police opened fire when  Gowrish attacked a police personnel  who was part of a team which had arrived there to arrest him following complaints of extortion.  Gowrish sustained injuries in his leg due to the firing.

Gowrish is wanted by the police in a total of six cases including three murder cases.
