Cops form team to nab man accused of harassing woman in city

Mangaluru, Jan 16, 2021:    City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has said a special police team has been formed to trace the man who has been accused of harassing a lady  in a city bus recently.

 

It may be recalled here that the Instagram post of the aggrieved woman wherein she had even  posted the picture of the accused, had gone viral. The Commissioner said the young woman was contacted soon after her post  came to the notice of the police  and added that the woman has lodged a complaint a Ullal Police station. He also said the police would have registered a case suo moto had the woman not lodged a complaint.
