Container Truck rams into mini truck in Nelyadi, one dead

Puttur, Sep 10, 2017: One person lost his life in a collision between Lorry and mini truck in mangaluru-Bengaluru highway near Nelyadi on Saturday night, September 9.

Container Truck bus was plying from Mangaluru to Bengaluru and the Ashok Leyland DOST mini truck was moving towards BC Road. They collided head on at Valalu near Nelyadi resulting in the death of mini truck driver on the spot.

The deceased person has been identified as Navaz from Melkar. Sources said that he was working as a line salesman for a bakery and just got married four months back. His body has been shifted to hospital in Puttur.
