Congress to protest if Kasturi Rangan report is implemented : Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, Aug 16, 2018: "Though a letter was written to the Centre during my tenure as forest minister  seeking to reject the Kasturi Rangan Report, the present Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja who is unaware of the same is making baseless allegations," said  former minister B Ramanatha Rai.

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress office here on August 16, Thursday, he said as the  Centre was keen to implement the  report, the BJP men are trying to pass the blame on the Congress. He said the party would protest if the report was implemented."If the BJP leaders do not want the implementation of Kasturi Rangan report, then let them join hands with us," said Rai.

 DK District in-charge Minister U T Khader,  Mayor Bhasker Moily, Ibrahim Kodijal, Shashidhar Hegde and other Congress leaders were present.
