Mangaluru, Nov 03, 2017: DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai has informed that the Congress will be observing Black Day on November 8 which marks one year of the demonetization announced by the Union Government.
Speaking to reporters here on November 3, Friday, Rai said the Congress will take out a rally from Sullia to Madikeri and hold a public meeting that day. He said the nation has been hit hard due to demonet ization and implementation of GST.
The empty chairs that greeted BJP Chief Amit Shah during his Parivartana Rally revealed that the people are supporting the Congress which has kept its words to the people, said Rai.
Rai informed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will visit city on November 4 to inaugurate the National Level Open Karate Championship at Nehru Maidan.
Rai also stated that Mane Manege Congress campaign to be held on November 6 at Akashbhavan and Kavoor Junction will be participated by KPCC President Parameshwar, AICC in-charge of Karnataka Affairs K C Venugopal, Energy Minister D K Shivakumar, S R Patil and others. The leaders will also hold a meeting at the party office and address the party men.
