Congress to convince Maharashtra CM against CAA implementation, says MLA Zeeshan Siddique

Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2020: Zeeshan Baba Siddique,  Congress MLA from Bandra East constituency  in Maharashtra has  said that his party would try to convice Chief Minister Udhav Thackeray against implementation of CAA in Maharashtra.

 

Zeeshan who happens to be the youngest MLA of Maharashtra spoke to reporters at the Congress office here on February 22, Saturday  during his maiden visit to the city.

 He said the ruling coalition government in Maharashtra will make clear its stand  on CAA during the upcoming Assembly session beginning on Monday.

He also said he was interested in emulating some of the developments  in the educational hub of Mangaluru, in his home constituency.

DCC Chief Harish Kumar, Congress leaders  Shahul Hameed, Nazeer Bajal, Neeraj Pal, Kanachur Monu  and others were present.
