Congress raking up Gujarat riots issue to cover up its failures: Malavika Avinash

Mangalore, Mar 26, 2014: Malavika Avinash, BJP’s star campaigner charged the Congress of using derogatory words against the BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi just to cover up the administrative failure of the government.

Speaking to the media at the Election Campaign Office of the BJP on March 25, Tuesday, she also alleged that the Congress was unnecessarily raising the Gujarat riots issue just to divert public attention.

She said the BJP was happy over the Supreme Court verdict    stating that Aadhaar will not be mandatory to avail benefits of government schemes.

At the same time Malavika aired her resentment against her own party and said  the BJP which has fielded only one woman from the state ought to have given opportunity to more women.

Referring to the cancellation of a BDA site to Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Management Committee in order  to allot the same to  UT Naseema Fareed Memorial Charitable Trust, she demanded a thorough investigation into the same.
