Mangalore Today News Network

Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2017 :  The BJP wants the Congress government in the state to drop all ministers who are involved in corruption. If Chief Minister Siddaramaiah fails to do so, then his government may not survive for long, warned Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was addressing a protest organised by the BJP against the Congress government, in front of the DC office here on February 20, Monday. He also predicted that over 15 MLAs will quit the Congress and join the BJP in the  next two months. Launching a tirade against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Nalin said Siddaramaiah who found nowhere to go after he quit the JD(S), joined the Congress which was a party against which he used to launch a scathing attack in the past.  He also dubbed Siddaramaiah as a ’tenant’ in the Congress party.

Nalin alleged that the Congress leaders and elected representatives in the state were more concerned about their own welfare rather than the welfare of the state and accused the party men of being  hand-in-gloves with the sand and land mafia.

Several BJP leaders including former MLA Yogish Bhat, Sulochana Bhat, Nagaraj Shetty and Anwar Manippady spoke during the protest.
