Congress demands withdrawal of BJP ticket for Prajna Singh

Mangaluru, Apr 20, 2019:  The BJP’s true face has been unravelled by the statement made by its Bhopal candidate  and Malegaon blast accused Prajna Singh Thakur regarding  former Maharashtra ATS Chief  Hemanth Karkare who died fighting militants, said State Congress Media Co-ordinator  A C Vinayraj.

Speaking to reporters at the  party office, he  said  her statement was condemnable and added that the BJP must initiate action against Prajna Singh if at all the party had any  respect for martyrs.

 He also demanded that the party must  withdraw the ticket granted to Prajna Singh to contest. "Can India fight terrorists if the BJP  makes such terror accused as its MPs? Can good governance be expected? Will it not lead to politics of hatred? The BJP must answer these questions," Vinayraj said.

Congress leaders Mahabala Maarla, Nazeer Bajal, Sadashiv Ullal and others were present.
