Congress delegation from DK meets CM; demands stringent action against moral policing

Puttur, Feb 21, 2014 :  A delegation  of  Congress leaders from the district led by DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  at Bangalore on February 20, Thursday and  urged  him to initiate stringent action against moral policing in the district. The delegation which also included Health Minister UT Khader appealed for more grants for development of roads.

JR Lobo, MLA of Mangalore South.  Moidin Bava, MLA of Mangalore North, Ivan D’Souza, KPCC Secretary. Kavu Hemanath Shetty, PP Varghese, Venkappa Gowda, Presidents of Puttur, Kadaba and Sullia Block Congress respectively and several others were part of the delegation.

  The Puttur Block Congress President  sought legal action against a police man of Uppinangady station who is facing charges of misusing   the passport records of an applicant to obtain a mobile SIM card.
