The exhibition will be formally inaugurated on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 5pm in the honorable presence of Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Former Member of Karnataka Legislative Council & the State BJP Spokesperson, Sabrina Hougaard, Art Patron and Sharath Punja, Architect. The exhibition will remain open to viewers 11am to 7pm till November 8, 2020.

The exhibition will showcase a broad range of recent works painted on canvas, terracotta and wood. The works draw inspiration from Indian folk and traditional arts, displaying the artist’s homage to small-town life and the inevitable growth of urbanization.

Andrade’s paintings seek to expose the hidden marvels of the everyday world. They invite you to take a trip with him into places that are all too familiar if you’ve ever been charmed by the small towns and semi urban spaces of coastal India. At the same time, they aren’t just a depiction of the countryside, but a snapshot of a moment in time that most of us tend to ignore, or that often gets lost in the speed of our fast-paced lives.

This exhibition is supported by S Cube Art Gallery.
