Coast Guard starts new Academic session of their Kindergarten School at Kunjathbail

Manglauru, Jun 22, 2018 : New Academic Session for the year 2018-19 of the Indian Coast Guard Kindergarten School within the scenic location of Coast Guard Residential Area, Kunjathbail began on  22 June 2018 in a traditional way by garlanding Goddess of Knowledge Saraswathi in the presence of the Honorable Deputy Mayor of Mangaluru Shri. Mohammed Kunjathbail, committee members of school management, officers and men in uniform alongwith teaching and non-teaching staff.

DIG SS Dasila, TM, Commander Coast Guard Karnataka while welcoming the GenNext Kids emphasized the aim of the school to impart quality education with an amiable teaching atmosphere for budding young creative minds to learn the power of knowledge with joy at the formative years so as to be able to face the challenges of the walks of future with confidence.

 


Deputy Mayor Mohammed Kunjathbail while congratulating Coast Guard and school staff highlighted that teaching is becoming not a viable career choice but conveyed his rejoice over the enthusiasm among young teachers at the CG KG School. Deputy Mayor expressed his pleasure on the way Coast Guard KG School has earned the name in the localities of Kavoor. While speaking to gathering he assured the Commander Coast Guard Karnataka in extending his full-hearted support in Coast Guard’s vision of upgrading the school to 10+2 level in times to come.  

Coast Guard KG School has been grooming the kindergarten kids since its activation year of 2001. The school registered as per the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 and functions under the aegis of Commander Coast Guard Karnataka. It was initially opened for the benefit of CG personnel staying in and around Kunjathbail area; however, with time, Coast Guard has extended school facilities to locals. Presently more than 70% students are from non-Coast Guard families residing in and around the neighborhood of Kunjathbail.
