Civic Tiger in action again: eviction drive near Central, Kankanady markets

Mangalore, Oct 18, 2014 : The controversial ‘Civic Tiger’ of the Mangalore City Corporation was in action again on October 17, Friday when the MCC officials conducted a surprise raid near  the Central Market and Kankanady markets  to clear encroachments of roadsides by the street vendors. It is gathered that the move followed several complaints from public.

 

 

 

 

The Civic Tiger vehicle of the MCC was seen carrying the  goods seized during the eviction drive. The raids were led by MCC inspectors Vasanth and Umesh.
