City top cop warns against use of drones without permission

Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2021:    City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar who has taken serious note of the fact that drones are being used indiscriminately in the city, has warned that drones  which are  used in weddings and other private functions  by violating DGCA rules will be seized and legal action would be initiated.

 

Speaking to reporters here on January 18,  Monday, the Commissioner said those who use drones or those who own drones have to mandatorily seek permission from the department concerned.

Harassment case probe underway : The Commissioner said investigation is underway and efforts are on to trace the accused who had   harassed a young lady in a city bus recently. He said three police teams are at work and added as the accused was speaking Malayalam  the suspicion is that he might be a Keralite.
