City’s two power lifters clinch 3 golds in Commonwealth Championship

Mangaluru, Sep 18, 2019: Two  Power lifters from Mangaluru have bagged a total of three gold medals in the Commonwealth Benchpress Powerlifting Championship held  at St John’s Canada on September 17 and 18.

 

Pradeep won gold in the 83 kg senior division by lifting a total weight of 210 kg. He is trained at Balanjaneya Gymnasium.  Rithvik Alevooraya K V, a student of Sahyadri Engineering College  clinched two golds in the 83 kg sub-junior category under the ’Equipped’ and ’Classic’ sections.
