City’s ’White Doves’ in another family reunion

Mangaluru, Mar 14, 2018: In another of numerous good Samaritan reunions,  Mangaluru based ’White Doves’ organisation has reunited Manu Raman Nair from Kottayam, Kerala, with his family.

Addressing media White Doves spokes person said that the man was found naked inside an ATM kiosk at the Mangalore Railway Station. The local people informed White Doves about the person and the volunteers took him to the White Doves home, providing him with necessary facilities. It was found that Nair was suffering from a psychological trauma after his mother passed away.

He had fled from his house in Kerala and his family members had filed a missing complaint at the nearby police station. “Manu is a diploma holder in civil engineering and had attempted to flee from his house several times. When he left his house the last time, he was not aware where he was heading and eventually reached Mangaluru railway station,” Fernandes said.

Medication was provided by the White Doves so that Manu could come out of his trauma. He was also admitted to the district Wenlock Hospital as his arm was fractured. Now he is doing well and has agreed to go home with his family.

Manu’s brothers-in-law V S Raju and Girish Kumar and White Doves founder president Corrine Rasquinha were present at the press meet.
