City journalists pay homage to M.V.Kamath

Mangalore, Oct 10, 2014:  Journalists of Mangalore paid homage to  the renowned veteran journalist Dr. M.V. Kamath  at the Patrika Bhavan in the city on October 10, Friday  under the aegis of  DK District Working Journalists Union and Press Club. Dr. M.V. Kamath (93), also the former chairman of Prasar Bharati had breathed his last at  the KMC Hospital Manipal on October 9.

 

Senior journalist and Udayavani Mangalore Bureau Chief Manohar Prasad spoke on the life and contributions of M.V. Kamath to the field of journalism.

P.B. Harish Rai, President of Working Journalists Union, Ramakrishna, President of Press club, Ravindra Shetty, Srinivas Nayak and others journalists were present.
