City bus fares up by 8% from today

Mangalore, May 26, 2014: The city bus fares have been revised with effect from May 26, Monday following a decision by the DK District Bus Operators’ Association to increase the fares by 8 per cent for all stages except Stage 1.

Already the fares of service and express buses in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have  been increased with effect from May 21.

 

The Association had earlier requested the Regional Transport Authority as well as the DC to permit revision in fare. The Association has said the Stage I fare will remain Rs 7 as earlier.
