City boy Aaron wins Canada chess event

Mangaluru, May 21, 2019: Aaron Reev Mendes, a student of Derik’s Chess School has won the  second place in the under-8 boys’  category in the Ontario State Chess Championship held in Canada.

 

He is now chosen to participate in Canada Troya Chess Championship.

Aaron is a second standard student at Mount  Carmel Central School, Mangaluru and is the son of Arun and Jennifer Mendes.
