City based jeweller found dead inside car at Maryhill

Mangaluru, Dec 11, 2014:  A city based jeweller has been found dead in  his  car parked  near his house at Maryhill Gurunagar on December 9, Tuesday morning. The body of Naveen Acharya  was found  in the driver’s seat of the car by his family members. The suspicion is that he might have committed suicide owing  to a financial issue.

jewellery The deceased has also left behind a note mentioning four names and blaming them  for his  death as they  owed him Rs 13,35,000.

According to family sources, Acharya who had left for his shop on the morning of December 8, Monday had not returned home that night. Instead his body was found in his car the next morning.

The note left behind by him  named Narayana Bondel, Tony Contractor, Shivananda Ketli from MESCOM and Puttur Ramachandra Acharya as being responsible for his death.

Shwetha, wife of the deceased has lodged a complaint stating that the financial problem which her husband faced might have driven him to the extreme step.

Investigations are under progress.
