City advocate P.P. Hegde elected Chairman of Karnataka State Bar Council

Mangalore, Oct 10, 2014: Padma Prasad Hegde aka P P Hegde, city based advocate has been elected unopposed chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council. Anil Kumar J M of Bangalore will be his deputy. Hailing from Mangalore, P P Hegde has been a practicing advocate for the past two-decades and has offices in Mangalore, Bangalore and Delhi.

P P Hegde, who was earlier the former vice-chairman of the council, is the first member of Mangalore Bar Association, and also the youngest advocate to be elevated to this post. Hegde completed his bachelor’s degree from Mangalore University bagging the first rank and gold medal, and subsequently his master studies also with a first rank. Hegde and Anil Kumar will assume office at the council’s office in Bangalore on October 11.
