City MLA distributes free food to the stranded

Mangaluru, Sep 11, 2018 : Stranded passengers at KSRTC bus stand in Bejai were served free food by Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath.  The stranded passengers were also provided water bottles. Areca sheath plates were used for serving the food. In fact, the MLA himself served food to many.

Speaking to reporters, he said, “Congress has misused the administrative machinery. Many hotels were forcibly shut by protesters. Stones were pelted at hotels, which in turn has affected the stranded people. As an MLA it was my duty to serve food and water to the stranded passengers and those who were in need of it.”
