City BJP Mahila Morcha protests Congress leader’s misbehavior

Mangaluru, Aug 22,2017: BJP Mahila Morcha staged protest before the DK DC’s office in Mangaluru on Aug 21, Monday and vehemently condemned misbehavior of Congress leader, Silk Board chairman TP Ramesh with MLC Veena Achaiah during Independence Day programme held in Madikeri on August 15.

Addressing the protest programme BJP Mahila Morcha leader Pooja Pai said, “the act of congress leader with Veena Achaiah is condemned and his misbehaviour is criminalza woman by touching her hand unnecessarily in the public.

Mahila Morcha leaders citing of former DYSP Anupama Shenoy’s resignation alleged, Congress led state government has failed to protect the interest of the people and its activities at administrative level have degraded women in Karnataka. 

BJP state Mahila Morcha spokesperson Sulochana G K Bhat addressing the protesters said, TP Ramesh after a row over his misbehavior reacted and stated that Veena is his sister. If she is his sister then why wouldn’t have touched her hand at her residence?. What forced him to touch her hand in the public?, she pointed out.
