Children’s talents event Baal Cordel held in Kulshekar Parish

Mangalore, Nov 13, 2011: The Indian Christian Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Kulshekar Parish organized Church Centenary Baal Cordel 2011 – 12 on the occasion of children’s day on Nov 12 in Frad Saib Hall at 6:00 in the evening. 

 

 

 

The event comprised 3 rounds such as ramp walk, question round, and talent presentation.

Rev. Sr. Lisa, the superior of Sacred Hearts Convent, was the chief guest. Fr. Valerian Pinto, the parish priest of Kulshekar and ICYM director, presided over the event. 

The dignitaries on the dais were Rev. Fr. Melwyn Noronha, the assistant director of ICYM; Rev. Fr. John Moras, the assistant parish priest; Praveen Patrao, the vice president of the Parish Council; Sushil Noronha, the ICYM animator; Noel D’Souza; Leena Lobo; G. D’Souza, the president of ICYM; and Sujatha, the secretary. 

The panel of judges comprised Anil Monteiro of Paldane, Gretta Gonsalves of Bendoor, and Sherin Walder of Angelore. 

The winners of the 2.5 – 4 years category were Meethan Noronha (first place), Ethen Raphael Tauro (first runner up), and Ancil Pereira (second runner up).
