Childless Couple ends life in Karkala

Karkala, Dec 24, 2016: A couple committed suicide in their house Hirgana in Karkala Taluk  as they were allegedly frustrated over being lonely ,is suspected. The incident came to light on December 24, Saturday.

 

The deceased are identified as Seetharam and his wife Sunanda .

sources say  that Seetharam-Sunanda couple were not to be seen from past two days. The neighbours  grew suspicious and knocked the door but there was no response from them , the door was latched from inside.

They immediately informed Karkala town police about the circumstance. The police reached the spot entered the house through the roof and found the bodies of the couples in burnt state. The bodies were shifted to Hospital for autopsy.

The reson for extreme step is not known. It is suspected that as they did not have children was frustrated over this and terminated them.

Karkala town police are investigating the case.
