Child seriously injured as car overturns at Maravanthe

Kundapur, Nov 01, 2016: In a tragic incident a child is seriously injured as the car they were travelling goes out of control, overturns. The accident took place at Maravanthe on November 01, Tuesday .

The injured are Sunny Larasado,a resident of Nandigudda, his  wife Cecila(56), his elder sister Jasmine Pinto(36) and her child Khel Pinto(4) have escaped with minor injuries. But Sunny Larsdao’s child Kiona Pinto is seriously injured in the mishap. All are being treated at Manipal Hospital .

It is said that Sunny Larasado along with his family was on their way back to Mangaluru from Honnavar.  When they reached Maravanthe the car they were travelling went out of control, knocked into a parked vehicle, topples and falls into a gorge. Due to the impact all the others were injured Sunny Larasado child is gravely injured.  The over speed and reckless driver is the reason for the accident says eyewitness.

Gangolly police reached the spot, Investigations are underway.
