Child dies in lightning strike near Derebail

Mangaluru, May 29, 2018: In a tragic incident, a two and a half year old child lost his life in lightning strike at Borugudde near Derebail on Sunday night.

The deceased child Muttu was the son of  Hanumantha K, a labourer of north Karnataka origin. 

The family was residing in a rented house at Borugudde. It is said the little boy who was playing inside the house at around 7.30 pm had suddenly come out of the house when lightning struck.

Kavoor Police have registered a case.
