Chikkamagaluru girl uses body spray as mouth freshner; dies

Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2015:  In a tragic incident a young  girl  from Chikkamagaluru who had   pumped a body spray into her mouth thinking it  would act like a breath freshner, died at a private hospital in the city  where she was admitted for treatment.

The incident had taken place on November 13 when 19 year old Sudha of Vastare village in Chikkamagaluru was getting ready to go out. She   had sprayed body spray to her clothes and even chose to  use it as a breath freshner which eventually claimed her life.

No sooner she pumped the spray into her mouth, she   began to suffer from severe stomach ache and was immediately rushed to the Mallegowda District Hospital at Chikkamagaluru.

When  there was no improvement in her condition she  was admitted to  Fr Muller Hospital in Mangaluru where she breathed her last.

Chikkamagaluru police have already registered a case of unnatural death.
